Yesterday I spoke at the KIKK digital festival in Namur, Belgium. The conference where extremely well organized and I would definitely recommend digital french-speaking people to go there if it’s back next year. My talk was called “Have a passion, not a business plan” and here’s how we describe it:

Is it possible to build an agency where you will actually enjoy coming to work every Monday morning — a playground rather than a production factory? That is what the founders of Hello Monday set out to do in 2006 when the agency was founded.

Jakob Kahlen, Creative Director and partner at Hello Monday, shares the ideology behind building and running an independent creative digital agency, and shows in depth case studies from some of the Hello Monday’s most colorful client projects.

A lot of other great digital speakers (and generally nice people :-) where there, including Ben Hammersly of Wired, Lab [AU], Lernert & Sander, Multitouch Barcelona, Andrew of Breakfast NY, Nico of Mixcloud, Filip of Creative Applications, Julien of Radio Laidback, Michael from Jung von Matt Next, and many more.
