Konservative

With extensive use of social media tools, Konservative used the website as the main platform to engage their peers throughout the election period. Konservative had

Konservative had 100 days to convince existing voters to stay and new voters to join the parti. We were given the task to create the online parts of the election campaign. We solved the task by designing an election site mainly driven by social media tools.

Each of the politicians were blogging on their own profile page of the website and used facebook pages to keep in contact with voters. The tour of the campaign bus were heavily covered with photos on Flickr, a calendar of the route and constant tweets of things going on. Along with this, we helped the Konservative build an action page with a clear overview of how the engaged voters could help with everything from handing out flyers to donating money for the campaign.

The election went very well for the Konservative with a 16% increase in voters.

The Konservative election site won silver in the 2008 Creative Circle Award and was voted “Best election website” from the readers of danish newspaper BT.
