Just finished teaching a 2 week course in Online Editorial design at the Danish School for Media and Journalism. The 2 weeks both included lectures in designing for online media and 2 student assignments. When I teach these courses, I try to team up with a real life client from the industry, to brief and review the assignments together with me. This time Jesper Vestergaard, Editor in Chief for Soundvenue.com was so nice to devote some time to do this.
As always, the students (most of them anyway) really got into the assignment, devoting a lot of time thinking up concepts for a new way of doing an online music magazine and how it should be designed to deliver a great user experience.
