I just spend used the last 8 hours in the company of 25 design students from The Danish School for Media and Journalism, reviewing concepts for tomorrows online fashion magazine. I’ve been at the school for the last 2 week lecturing about Online Editorial Design – focusing on translating the magazine experience of a fashion magazine from paper to the web. To make the assignment even more life-like, I had invited Cecilie Christiansen (Editor in Chief) and Louise Lyngsbo (Art Director) from Danish Elle Magazine to brief and review the assignments together with me. Both the girls and I where pretty impressed with the work the students had made and most of the students came up with really good concepts and designs for the online version of Elle Denmark.
